Integrating refugees and migrants with host communities, from a territorial perspective.

Since 2015, an exodus of more than 5 million Venezuelans has been estimated and a figure exceeding 10 million Venezuelan refugees and migrants in Latin America is projected for 2024.

In 2019, we formed an innovative alliance amongst UNHCR, IOM, and UN-Habitat, which, with the financing of the European Union, seeks to improve the effective integration of refugees and migrants to achieve cities with more inclusion and solidarity

Inclusive Cities, Communities of Solidarity is an inter-agency initiative between UNHCR, IOM, UN-Habitat, and the European Union that seeks to reduce the vulnerabilities of refugees and migrants and increase the resilience of host communities in six Latin American countries and Caribbean.
