Provide a baseline, elements of analysis, and recommendations on the integration needs of refugees and migrants and the aspects of prosperity of cities to promote the right to the city for everyone, through access to basic services, housing, employment and education opportunities, within the existing legal and policy framework.
Elaboration of comprehensive plans, within the reach of governments, for territorial intervention built in a participatory manner with the refugee, migrant and host communities, as a response strategy for the management of urban solutions to promote more inclusive cities and more supportive communities.
Refugee, migrant and host communities will have participatory spaces and socio-cultural activities for integration, co-creation and social cohesion, and will be part of communication strategies against xenophobia and discrimination, strengthening networks of collaboration, civic commitment, and prevention of conflict in cities.
Strengthen knowledge, tools, channels of communication and attention, and community and public management processes to address the challenge of human mobility in cities, meeting the specific demands of this population in terms of integration, rights, development and quality of life.
The cities and communities involved in the project will have a space to share and learn about experiences and best practices both regionally and globally, and will have a systematization that will allow them to appropriate the experience and replicate it in other territories.
