The municipal library of La Chorrera hosted the Block by Block workshop – Block by Block is a methodology inspired by the video game Minecraft-, which is part of the participatory workshop in the Pedro Pablo Sanchez park. 8 teams made up of 18 students from the Pedro Pablo Sanchez and Tomas Martín Feuillet schools presented their designs for the Pedro Pablo Sanchez park. Among the proposals presented by the students were Street lighting with solar panels, garbage dumps focused on recycling and spaces to practice dances. During the two days-workshop, the students were accompanied by some teachers, municipal officers and officers from UNHCR, IOM and UN-Habitat. This Block by Block workshop served as a prelude to the tactical urban planning activities in La Chorrera.
