On July 27 2022, the Andres boardwalk in Boca Chica hosted the Family Rally for the Integration of Refugees and Migrants. The event sought to generate a space for cohesion and knowledge of the Venezuelan and Dominican cultures where, through traditional games, Venezuelan refugees and migrants, as well as Dominicans from the host community, strengthened the ties of brotherhood that have been created between both populations. 100 women and men from both communities residing in Boca Chica participated, who joined the recreational and neighborhood integration activities. The activity managed to consolidate the social cohesion between everyone and recognize through typical fun games the bonds of union.
