Seeking to effectively integrate people in situations of human mobility with the host community, on November 4, 2021, the native tree planting campaign was carried out in Manta, in which around 150 people planted various species of vegetation in the  the San Mateo road area. The activity, organized by the municipality of Manta and supported by the Inclusive Cities, Communities of Solidarity project, sought to increase the urban green index in the city and at the same time, through the analogy between symbiosis and care for the environment, promote anti- xenophobic awareness. The day passed by satisfactorily amid the enthusiasm of the participants, who shared not only life experiences but found common ground to highlight the importance of native vegetation, which is not only the most appropriate for the land but also provides protection to the environment, given its local character.
