230 square meters of vacant land is recovered through joint planning with Colombian and Venezuelan leaders and people from the Brisas de los Andes neighborhood.
The neighborhood, located in Commune 9 of Cúcuta, does not have an accessible and quality public space, so it is proposed to coordinate between the community and Inclusive Cities, to adapt this space so that it can be used by boys and girls to play, by older people to talk and even cook, or simply to share spaces of the week and meet with people from the community.
Throughout the month of April, a cleaning day was first coordinated prior to the adaptation and technical review of the land, to subsequently reuse existing materials and recover the space, painting it and adapting it so that it would invite all the people who live in the community.
Today, after a few weeks of being rebuilt, it is normal to see people who used to end their afternoons on the way out of their homes, approach the Little Triangle with their chairs, but to end the afternoon there, in the company of neighbors, surrounded by more people and children -who regardless of nationality- share a daily space, before night falls. And even, based on the high and frequent use of public space, from Inclusive Cities a projector, chairs, speakers, microphones and fans were delivered, so that even at night, they can meet in the Triangulito to watch movies. .
