On December 20, 2022, 15 parliamentarians from the European Union visited Cucuta, to see first-hand the progress of the Inclusive Cities project in the integration and inclusion of Venezuelan refugees and migrants in the Brisas de los Andes, Las Delicias and Manuela Beltrán neighborhoods. The dignitaries interacted with around 100 members of the community, who expressed their appreciation for the project and also told them about their goals, dreams and concerns. It is to highlight the participation of boys and girls who have been beneficiaries of the program through cultural and sports activities, as well as community leaders, who provided visitors with an overview of the current situation of the communities they represent. The parliamentarians ended their visit by ratifying the European Union’s commitment to continue supporting the community, integration and sustainability.
