On 23 September 2022, a registration session was held for refugee, migrant and host community women for an English course, with the aim of using said training as a tool to close gender gaps. The session took place in the Territorial Intervention Unit of Villa del Mar and was held in partnership with the Office for Women, Equity and Gender of the District Mayor’s Office of Barranquilla and the National Learning Service SENA. 25 refugee, migrant and host community women enrolled in the course, who will be taught a cycle of basic English, which will help them close labor gender gaps.
