An integration fair took place at Boulevard Bicentenario, aiming to offer various services to the refugee, migrant and host population and create a space for cultural exchange. More than 250 refugees, migrants and persons from the host communy participated in the activity, which included the participation of entities such as Veneactiva, the Peruvian Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross, the District Municipality of Surquillo, CEDRO, Save the Children and Ocasiven. Various activities were carried out such as a regularization day, labor, legal, and social insertion and integration into the social security system; medical care (general medicine and pharmacy); evaluation of cases to support people in vulnerability; advice on giving support to disabled people; soft skills workshops; puppet show on health and disease prevention; animation and children’s recreation; COVID-19 vaccination for people over 5 years of age and influenza vaccination for people over 60 years of age and people with comorbidities.
