Framed in the expected result of capacity building of governments and other stakeholders, a recycling training session was held in La Chorrera, Panama. The activity was aimed at teachers from two schools located in the Territorial Intervention Unit. Teachers were trained to learn how to make a “love bottle” (eco-brick), so that in turn they can transfer this knowledge to their students and later carry out a large collection in the community and enhance the impact of recycling in the same. This will converge so that children and teenagers from the territory take as their own these good practices related to recycling, which will directly and positively impact both the environment and the well-being of the neighborhood. Twenty six teachers (nineteen women and seven men) received the training, which they described as useful and proper and also had the support of the Botellas de Amor foundation as its implementing partner.
