The integration of keywords from Colombia and Venezuela was the basis for the elaboration of the mural “In Granjas we respect differences”, located in the Granjas de Provenza neighborhood in Bucaramanga and which was delivered to the Santander department capital in March 2022, after an active and participatory community work. With a harmonious mix of colors and shapes, the participants worked for weeks to creatively capture some elements that bring both nations closer together and that undoubtedly generate links and strengthen ties between the various members of the community. This community integration strategy in the sector had 30 people who made up the dynamic group, out of which 15 belong to the refugee and migrant population and the rest were part of the host community, highlighting that the majority of the participants were women, 25 in total, this being an important female participation that highlights their valuable leadership in the activity.
