Festival Tejiendo Territorios

The Festival included in the socioeconomic development plan, was held in this space that brought together more than 500 Colombians, Venezuelans, and their respective production units, strengthening committees, and Civil Society Organizations, to demonstrate the entire gastronomic offer, recreation and sports that the 3 neighborhoods of Commune 9 of Cúcuta have: Manuela Beltrán, Las Delicias and Brisas de los Andes.

During a whole weekend the 3 neighborhoods had different dynamics of integration, such as weaving the message “United We Are Communities”, they merged typical foods from both countries, such as hallacas, rice pudding and arepas, and a mini-soccer tournament was played between the 3 neighborhoods.

At the same time, they visited the new libraries recovered and adapted to be integrated into the network of public libraries in the country and other public spaces were painted where people from the 3 neighborhoods currently meet daily.
