As part of the actions promoted to generate local integration processes, Venezuelan migrants living in San Cristóbal carried out cleaning activities in public spaces in a coordinated manner with municipal authorities.

In conjunction with the Mayor’s Office of San Cristóbal, as well as agents of the General Directorate of Traffic Safety and Land Transportation (DIGESETT), they carried out street cleaning and visual signaling over a weekend with the collaboration of Venezuelan and Dominican nationals who they came together to recover common use spaces.

These activities are part of others already carried out in cleaning beaches and public spaces. Venezuelan migrants showed their interest in participating and being part of these inclusive activities that seek, among other things, to thank the host communities for their acceptance and solidarity.
