Campaign launched in association with “Somos Panas” where refugees and migrants made more than 300 masks with the help of Colombian designer Adriana Contreras.
In the month of commemoration of World Refugee Day and within the framework of the Inclusive Cities, Solidarity Communities Project, a commemorative mask is created with the design of Adriana Contreras and made by Venezuelan refugees and migrants in Cúcuta.
The action seeks to pay tribute to the strength of all the people who have had to flee their countries. With this design we want to transmit messages of integration and awareness about the situation of people who have had to leave their homes and their countries.
The making of the masks was in charge of Venezuelan families and one of displaced people. Each family will have an economic income per mask produced.
30% of the resources obtained from the sales will be used to strengthen the shelters that serve pregnant and lactating women; and survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
